“And they
overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and
they did not love their lives to death. Revelation 12:11 NKJV
Arch Angel Michael and his angels fought against the devil
and prevailed. Their victory was through the blood of the Lamb and by the
word of their testimony.
Testimony is a witness account of a particular incidence. It
could also be termed as a firsthand experience of an event. The blood of Christ
has redeemed us from the hold of sin and made us children of God. After that we
begin to have first hand experiences of God’s goodness in every area of our
lives. The blood of Jesus and our testimonies are powerful weapon against the enemy. Angel Michael used them to win the battle against the devil.
We can also wage war against the devil with the blood of Christ and the word of
our testimony. Whenever the devil rears his ugly head again remind him of what God did before through the blood of the lamb and His word concerning that challenge. The word of your testimony is your constant confession of the word of God concerning any difficulty. If you do not give up, the word of God will prevail over the difficult situation and you will have victory just like Angel Micheal did against the devil. The word of God says:
That problem cannot stand forever in your life. Only the word of God can. So keep on confessing it even in the face of that difficulty. Confess healing in the face of sickness, confess provision in the face of lack, confess divine protection in the face of insecurity. That is the word of your testimony and sooner than you think, you will surely see the manifestation of the word in your life. Constantly remind the devil that God is still alive and He will definitely beat him to it again! That's how to war with your testimonies.
"The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God stands forever" Isaiah 40:8 NKJV.
Do you have a resounding testimony? Has God been good to
you? Then praise Him!!!!! When you thank Him for what He has done no matter how
seemly small, He will perfect your miracle and also give you more reason to
praise Him.
Remember the story of the ten lepers in Luke 17:11-19? They asked
Jesus to heal them and Jesus gave them an instruction to go show themselves to
the Priest. On their way to the priest they were healed. Only one of them who
was a Samaritan came back to give thanks and share his testimony.
“Were there not
ten cleansed? But where are the nine? Were there not any found who returned to
give glory to God except this foreigner? And He said to him, Arise, go your
way, your faith has made you well.” Luke 17:17-19 NKJV
Jesus was actually expecting these guys to come back to give
thanks for their miracle, but only one of them did. God is expecting you to
give Him all the glory for all his goodness in your life. Please don’t take Him
for granted.
I am happy to announce to you that you could share your
testimonies with me here on the blog. Apart from giving God all the glory
through your testimony and using it to wage war against the devil, it will also
be a blessing and encouragement to someone facing the same predicament as you.
It will ignite hope in them.
To share your testimonies on the blog please follow this
simple format:
1.
Tell us the challenge
2.
What did you do?
3.
What did God do?
Send your testimony as a
mail with the title TESTIMONY to adeolaademiluyi7@gmail.com. Attach a clear picture of
yourself and that of your testimony if possible. Also send a brief introduction
of yourself.
Looking forward to your testimonies. If God can do it for
one He can do it for all. Let’s turn those testimonies to weapons to fight the
enemy. Shalom!!!
