BELIEVERS PRAYER

If you have not committed your life unto Jesus Christ then you are still living in sin. And sin is an abomination unto God.

The scripture makes us understand in Romans 3:23 “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.” It also says in Romans 6:23a “For the wages of sin is death;” this is not the physical death but the eternal separation from God in hell. But Jesus came and paid the price for your sin by dying on the cross. Romans 6:23b says “But the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” If you are ready to accept Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Saviour please pray:

“Lord Jesus, I realize the fact that am a sinner. Please forgive my sins. I believe Jesus came to die for my sins, I believe He rose up the third day for my justification. I believe in the finished work of Christ on the cross of Calvary. Jesus I open my heart to you come into my heart. Wash away my sins with your precious blood. Thank you for saving me. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.”

 If you sincerely prayed this prayer from your heart, then you are now a born again child of God. You are now a new creature according to 1Corinthians 5:17 “Therefore if any man be in Christ, He is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”

Now you need to grow in your new found faith. Start reading the word of God as written down in the Bible. The Bible is God’s manual for your life. If you buy any appliance it usually comes with a manual. A manual is how to operate an equipment. To know how to operate your life successfully here on earth you need a manual for your life. The manual is the Bible. You need to read the word of God. Joshua 1: 8 says:

“This book of the law shall not depart from my mouth but I shall meditate in it day and night. That I might observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then will I make my way prosperous and I shall have good success.” 

There you are! That is the pathway to success spiritually. Read the word, meditate on the word morning and night, speak the word and do the word. Tell people about your new found faith and encourage them to come and join you. Also, locate a Bible believing church and start attending. As a new born babe in the Lord, you cannot grow in isolation. You need the company of believers to grow. Tell the Holy Spirit to lead you and He will.
